What I Like About Singapore
1. the place is CLEAN.. as in! the only trash that you'll see are dry leaves..
2. one can't smoke on almost all the public places..
3. cab's are amazing! they all have this LCD screen in front of them where they can advertise that you can pay them through the use of your credit card.. yes, via credit card.. and below the LCD screen is the swiper for the credit card..
4. they give importance to every cent they have.. if you have to pay $7.35 to the cab driver then he will give you the exact change, the same goes to the boutiques in the mall.. unlike here in the philippines, if you only have to pay P47.50 and you gave 50 , then that's it.. they won't give you any change..
5. there is NO TRAFFIC.. there are traffic lights but cars won't line up on the street for hours just to get to their destination..
6. people are DISCIPLINED.. when they see the traffic sign that says pedestrian can't cross the street, they won't really cross the street even when there is no cars passing by..
7. Orchard road.. where you can walk all day and people won't care about you.. kidding! it's where you can find plaza singapura, lucky plaza, OG, and some other malls where you'd love to shop..
8. trains are pretty cool.. if here in the philippines you'll find it amazing that we have this machine on the LRT2 where you can buy the tickets, think again.. coz in Singapore, there machine's monitor is a touch screen! you'll just point the station where you are going to.. and you'll never be afraid that you might fall down the rail ways because there's a "harang" (it's mahirap to explain in english).. haha!
9. oh, their drinking fountains are also high tech.. you just have to go infront of it and the water will automatically come out.. there's probably a detector.. (the hell, i can't put the picture)
10. every mall provides plastics for umbrellas, especially when it's raining, so their floorings won't get wet.. plastics for animal's poop are also provided (in public parks), so it won't be smelly..
11. foods are super delicious! whether it's american, chinese, japanese or even filipino..=)
12. people won't care on whatever you're wearing..
13. the weather is just like here in the philippines.. the only difference is that, even its 12 in the afternoon, you won't feel the heat because there's wind.. they've conserved their trees.. you'll see a lot of buildings but still trees are everywhere..
14. the underwater world! where you can see the different fishes in the ocean.. hehe..
15. Luge and skyride at sentosa! i didn't enjoy the cable car ride though..
16. crocs! it's cheaper there..
17. there's tissue in every comfort room that you go..even in public toilets.. plus, their toilet bowls are clean..
18. ice cream are everywhere.. haha! sorry, i just love ice cream, that's why..
19. our non-stop walking.. meaning, we're going somewhere like the merlion's park, orchid garden, jurong bird park, sentosa, night safari and orchard road..
20. Lastly, i get to see and spend time with my dad..=)
