JM, Marga and JR

we had our first on-chair today and i was assigned to JM, Marga and JR.. JM is good but he has some attention problems.. he kept on standing but he can answers my questions and he can comply with all the work.. Marga is a new student, actually it's her first day today and i'm so unlucky because we're both adjusting.. that was when i made a mistake.. we were supposed to present the materials from the left side of the kid to their right.. second is, Marga is some kinda deaf and she's not speaking clearly so i barely hear her answers that i repeat my command even if she's right.. Margais also good, her problem is her speech.. and last is JM, Mr. Masikip.. i don't know why but that's what they call him.. upon talking to his teacher, i learned that JR are one of the kids in the center who's less fortunate.. his session is only one hour a week.. he is also compliant with me.. he's good but he also has some speech problems..

it was very tiring but i enjoyed because the kids that i've handled are good.. we will be doing on-chair until next week.. and on the first week of june will be our final exam.. and after that will ne our judgement day.. i really hope that i will pass this training.. im out of words.. gudbye..

Finally

JP finally have a job, and it's the job that he's been waiting for.. after a month and a half of walking around makati, Novartis gave him his first job as a medical representative.. i'm so happy for him.. he signed his contract today and the sad part is he was assigned at Bataan and Zambales.. i almost freaked out upon receiving his text message, but chiko reminded me that it's still in Luzon.. just 4-5 hours drive away from Manila.. he will start his training on Monday and it will only be for a month..=(

i sure am happy that he got a job.. but i know that there will be a lot of changes when he starts working on his area.. we will only see each other once in a blue moon.. but i also know that we can get on this.. God is with us..=)

Observant

here are some of my observation in the philippines:

1. almost all the leading lady on philippine movies are poor and their leading men are rich, the guy's parents won't agree of the girl because of her being poor.. they will fight for their love and at the end, the will end up with each other.. this not only on movie but also in teleseryes..

2. almost all of sharon cuneta's guests on her sunday show is her favorite! "this is one of my favorite singers," "one of my favorite actor," one of my favorite bands.."

3. MMDA will only appear on the street between 11-2pm and after that they will disappear..

4. top companies only go for ateneo, la salle and U.P.

5. upper class people don't watch our own movies..

6. we buy new clothes for christmas, new year and birthdays..

7. we still want something to put on our table during fiestas even if we don't have enough money..

8. we are the number one inggetera and inggetero..

9. we always want to be in..

10. we are also the number one gossiper yet we don't want some people to make gossips about us..

11. i think it's been six years since the De Belen sisters hosted their noontime show "Sis" but they are still having a hard time reading their scripts..

12. Wendy of Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 is such a slut.. big brother should've brought her back to the house, she's super duper arte!!!

13. rich people usually have special children, God is really good..

Pico De Loro

this beach is actually hidden but never did we know that Henry Sy discovered it and bought it.. now, he's building a paradise in nasugbu.. i think this is much better than the popular Peninsula De Punta Fuego because it has 13 coves and you can visit it all if you are a member or if you own one condo unit in the said resort.. i'm not sure, but i hope my parents will buy or at least sign up and pay for membership.. but if ever they will, then our new 2007 honda crv and worst, my honda jazz will forever be a drawing.. why? because it will cost us 400,ooo pesos to be a member..

anyways, here are some pictures from pico de loro.. it's still in the process of building up so you cannot yet see the condominiums and other amenities..

that will be the main office

that's the boardwalk

what can you say? the sand is almost white..

Fox and Mark

we observed some of the kids in the center because teacher tina had an operation and she can't meet us for two weeks.. sheyn and i observed Fox and Mark.. i think he's 4 or 5 years old.. and his problem is attention.. plus he's a little distracted on us.. he's a handsome boy, i think he'll be one of the so called tall, dark and handsome when he grow up.. he laughs whenever he answered the teacher correctly and whenever he has a chance, he will hold our hand.. he writes on the air when he's thinking of an answer, that's his steam.. he can read a little.. but he has a problem on socialization.. one of his play break is with the other kids.. during the socialization, fox remained silent though he's smiling a lot.. and whenever it's his turn to sing or to do something he constantly covers his face..

the next kid that we obrserved is mark.. karen already told us that he's cute.. another tall, dark and handsome.. he talks funny, he's buyoy.. hehe.. "dyi beh ses bi cayfu!" oh naintindihan nyo ba? ang cute..!!! oh and he's fond of elevators and electric fan.. when he entered the room he immediately looked up and stared at the wall fan.. he's sweet.. he hugs and kiss us when he is ordered to do it.. he's not shy..

this is mark....

it was fun observing those kids.. i somehow felt some joy in my heart because someone like them can learn.. maybe a little delayed but still they have the effort to learn..

Election Mania

it's a big day for the candidates, ordinary day for none voters and uhmm.. i don't know what kind of day it is for the voters.. my sister woke me up at 9am and asked if i can accompany them to the school where they will vote.. we went there at around 10:30am.. i was laughing inside because there were people giving me flyers and telling me to vote this and that.. as if i'm a registered voter.. anyways, i feel a little bit sorry because we have three registered voters in the family but they can't vote because they are not here.. when ate cez was done voting, she told us that she saw her mom's name but there wasns't any signature.. her mom already voted earlier this morning, so she asked.. "why did my mother not sign on this paper?" the woman did not answer, instead she asked ate cez "where's your mom?" she answered "she's at home.." the woman answered back "ok, just bring her here so she can sign in here.." talk about dirty politics huh.. if ate cez didn't see that, then maybe there can be someone who'll use her mom's name to vote.. there were supposed to be two papers to sign and one paper to put on there thumb mark.. my auntie (ate cez' mom), my lola and one of my cousins only signed one paper and did not put any thumb mark on any paper.. i was about to text to "boto mo, ipatrol mo" to report that anomaly but thought that it's just a waste of time and load because before they even arrived, i know that those people already did something to cover up there dirty work..

on our way to manila, i asked JP if he voted for kiko pangilinan.. of course he answered yes, but i was not convinced so i asked him again.. and there, he told me that he forgot to write his name.. for goodness sake.. he voted for loren legarda, nasugbu's number one enemy for owning the twin island.. and would you believe that he voted for antonio trillanes??? OMG! without any hesitations, i told him that he didn't vote wisely.. i could've been the one who voted for him..

well, so mush about elections.. i'm so tired and i want to sleep.. zzzz....

Training 101

i signed my contract today and we also started our training.. good thing Teacher Tina still allowed chiko to have an interview and even gave her time to think.. she gave us a brief background of the center for starters and of we go to the lessons that we have to study.. it was like i'm on school again because we will have an exam after we finish our first two lessons.. it's like we have midterms and for our finals, our lessons will be about the drills.. we will also be assigned to do on-chair teaching with the kids.. and we'll again have our written exams.. it's also like defending our thesis because the higher people will observe and evaluate our performances.. by the way, it's a good thing that our training will only be halfdays.. they cannot give us a whole day training because of the kids that their are handling..

Ruffa's Annulment

"ruffa gutierrez at ylmaz bektas, hiwalay na!" that was the breaking news when i was watching t.v. patrol.. i wasn't really surprised when i heard that.. i remember my sister telling me that she doesn't believe that ruffa is not happily married because if she does, then why is she always here in the Philippines and working? coz that's her passion? nah.. we don't think so.. and she even let her children work.. they have a number of pictorials, t.v. guestings and a commercial.. why let your children work if you know that you're rich.. for exposure? nah.. we don't think so.. whatever the reason maybe, i just hope nothing for ruffa.. why? well, hello? she's not my friend.. haha..

Behavior Therapist

i was interwieved today by Teacher Tina, the Program Supervisor of Intervention Partners.. after my interview, she let me observe an on going one on one class.. i observed chico, i think he's a 6 years old boy with autism.. during the observation, i noticed that in every activity, there is a basket that the child will pack away.. i asked the teacher what's the use of the baskets.. he said that if the child finishes four baskets, he will have a 3-5 minute break and the child will be the one to choose what he will do.. it is a reward for short.. he can either read a book, play or eat.. after my 15 minute of observation, i went to Teacher Tina's room and she discussed to me the terms and conditions for the training, the salary if we will be hired and the rules of the center.. if i choose to drop out of the program in the middle of the training, i will pay 10,000 pesos for the knowledge and skills that i've learned (even if i didn't finish the training).. if i get hired and refused, i will still pay 10, 000 pesos.. but if i get hired and not refuse the training will be for free.. once i get hired, i will be payed 110 pesos per hour plus 5 pesos per hour for the transportation fee.. their pay day is during the 15th and 30th day of the month.. there will be no tax, SSS and other benefeciary ek-ek that will be deducted from our salary.. to some, it is not that big but for me, it is.. this is the work that i've been waiting for.. maybe that's the reason why there aren't no companies that called me to come for the next interview.. i know it will be very challenging to handle kids with special needs but i will be happy and contented on this field.. i just hope and pray that i will get through the training..

Life Wreckers Reunion

i was supposed to meet JP today but my friends and i have plans.. we meet up here in our place to have a little reunion because we somehow missed wrecking lives of other people and we missed MDB! bwahaha! yvette, who has the most delicious story arrived at 6pm just when they were packing things to go home.. jb and beth did not come though.. i think we spent 1 and a half hour listening to chiko's story.. no offense but i did'nt pay enough attention to that..

oh, we ordered pizza for our merienda.. we had a great time though there weren't so many stories that we've shared.. i still miss them..

Ala Grey's Anatomy

i went to Intervention Partners this morning to submit my resume.. sheyn referred me to the center because she knows that i'll be taking up Masters in SPED in time.. i was encourage because not only in matches my future masteral degree, but also because of the salary.. as starters, we'll be paid 110 per hour and after six months, it will increase.. there will also be a transpo allowance but will be given during the pay day.. but before we get hired, we will be having a 4-6 weeks of training for free but with no allowance.. so im still not sure if i'll have a job..

so after going to IP, i met with with JP at mrt shaw station and we went off to makati to again hurt our feet for another job hunting day.. it was already quarter to 11 when we arrived at ayala, i asked him if we can eat first before we start our activity but he begged me if we can go first to Pfizer because that's his target company for the day.. so we walked from InterContinental to Dela Costa Ave. and it's so damn far! but as we passed buy some buildings, we decided to also submit our resume.. Smart was supposed to be our last stop before we eat because we still can't see the Ayala Life Building.. I again asked if we can eat before we look for the building but then as we were walking, i saw Ayala Life, so we entered the building.. we were on the lobby and getting our ID Pass at the front desk when suddenly there was a big.. BANG! there was a gun shot! OMG! a stupid policeman was unloading his gun and accidentally pull the trigger.. i was really on panic because i felt something hot passed on my elbow.. and JP also felt something on his legs.. he thought that it was nothing but when he looked at it, he had a wound and it was somehow bleeding.. so i asked him if he feels something inside but he says no.. i was the one in panic because i heard the guards asks us to inspect ourselves because sometimes gunshot may not have a bleeding.. when i saw this woman asking help from the front desk officer, i demand JP to also ask for something to clean his wound.. he was so relaxed and i hate it! he asked someone who looked like he's i a big position if we can go but he told us that the ambulance is coming and that we have to go to the hospital because there will be a report.. the first thing that came on my mind? "wala kaming pera!" and knowing that we'll be brought to Makati Medical Center.. it's not "just" a hospital, Kris Aquino gave birth there! hay..

so around 12:30pm, with the absence of an ambulance, the company service was the one who brought as to the hospital.. the nurse took JP's blood pressure and hi
s body temperature and then the receptionist got his information.. as we were waiting for the other woman to finish giving information, we overheard her asking the receptionist if the bill will be our personal expense (so i, again panicked) but thank God, she told that maybe Ayala Life will be shouldering the expenses.. after that, they were brought to the emergency section of the hospital and then they were again brought to the "mild care" section.. i did not accompany JP to the mild care section because i don't wanna put pressure on the nurses while they work on JP.. but then one of the doctor told me to go to him.. when i went there, the other lady told me that he will be having an x-ray on his leg.. i was really worried at that time that i thought of so many things.. what if the hospital calls his parents? and exactly today, they are here in Manila.. would it be the best time to meet them? what will be there reaction if they see me with JP in the hospital? what the hell would happen? hmm..

and then after a few minutes, i saw JP sitting on a wheelchair as the nurse pushes him to the mild care section.. he made a signal that his knees are okay so i felt relieve.. at around 2pm, he was sent off by the doctor.. then he talked to the representatives of Ayala Life, they told him that he won't have to worry about the expenses and that he can call them if he felt something on his knees.. after our unforgettable experience, he still insisted on going back to Ayala Life to submit our resume on Pfizer.. what a day..

as i was waiting for JP to appear i took pictures.. hehe..

Spidey Got Me Teary-Eyed

i actually cried during the last remaining minutes of Spider-Man3.. it was very touching.. harry osborne died of saving his bestfriend.. all in all, i like it, maybe because i'm a fan.. pangit lang ending kc nakakabitin, parang "yun lang?".. but spidey movies are my favorite so i'd say i like it..

Forgiveness

two days ago, i was crying myself out because i wasn't able to go to JP's place.. i've said angry words at him.. words that can threaten him at words to help him realize that i deserve something from my sacrifices.. but now, we're okay again.. i've forgiven him and gave him time to do something about it but with an ultimatum.. before his birthday.. it was supposed to be before my birthday but i told him that if he STILL want to introduce me to his family then he it should happen before his before his birthday whether he like it or not..

it's not easy to be in a relationship because there are many consequences that may come.. JP and i have been together for 2 years and 6 months this coming may 7.. and for those years and months, we've been through a lot.. there came a time that we almost break-up because of his family.. his family has always been our problem.. he said things that he didn't mean and it really caused me pain.. i was depressed for almost 5 months.. i even diagnosed myself of having a mood disorder.. if i didn't hold on and if i didn't understand him, then maybe we could've gone our separate ways.. understanding and forgiveness is one great factor of having a good relationshipp.. because if you don't try to do those things, you can't have hold on.. im not a martyr or something but whenever i think of breaking up with him, i thought about the good things that we shared and i always seek help from God, that he would still give me strentgh.. and i think of it as a test which is supposed to be true..

About
A tortoise is a land-dwelling reptile of the order Testudines. Like their aquatic cousins, the turtles, tortoises are shielded from predators by a shell. The top part of the shell is the carapace, the underside is the plastron, and the two are connected by the bridge. The tortoise has both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton. Tortoises can vary in size from a few centimetres to two meters. Most land tortoises are herbivorous in the wild.

Tortoises generally have lifespans comparable with those of human beings, and some individuals are known to have lived longer than 150 years. Because of this, they symbolize longevity in some cultures, such as China.
