Andrew

it's the first day of June and i miss school.. i'm supposed to be in school and having our pre-registration or enrolling by this time.. but no.. i'm here in our apartment in Makati and trying to waste time.. and before i forget, graduate na nga pala ako.. hay.. oh, i didn't waste time pala.. early this morning i met up with Teacher Eden because i have an on-chair with his kid Andrew.. today is field day and we're going to Andrew's house and have the session there.. Andrew has autism and i think he also has ADHD.. for goodness sake, he's so hyper and he's doing a lot of verbal steam.. we need to do gross-motor activities first before we even start because he will not focus if he's that hyper.. after the gross-motor, Teacher Eden massage his arms and legs to keep him calm.. she told me that it will only last for an hour and mind you, his session is 3 hours.. but before he comes back to his own world, i was already finished with him.. but Teacher Eden, wanting me to learn, let me handled his second gross-motor activity.. okay, i'm not so good in initiating a child (with autism), but i have my reasons, i'm only new at this kind of things.. andrew won't jump, he is not listening to my orders.. why? because i'm a new teacher and he's making fun of me.. he kept on laughing and saying things that i don't understand.. he only jumped when i said that we'll sing the goodbye song after his 5 baskets.. to some, it may not be challenging, but hey, it is! this kid also wants to be embraced all the time, he loves it when he is being squeezed.. when i finished my first five baskets with him, he came up to me, kissed my forehead (ginawa akong lola!) and hugged me.. Teacher Eden told me to resist but before she even say that Andrew had already hugged me.. oh by the way, this kid is pure Chinese and they have three cars.. there house is not that pretty because it's ancient, but you'll know that someone rich is living there.. anyway, this is andrew..:

About
A tortoise is a land-dwelling reptile of the order Testudines. Like their aquatic cousins, the turtles, tortoises are shielded from predators by a shell. The top part of the shell is the carapace, the underside is the plastron, and the two are connected by the bridge. The tortoise has both an endoskeleton and an exoskeleton. Tortoises can vary in size from a few centimetres to two meters. Most land tortoises are herbivorous in the wild.

Tortoises generally have lifespans comparable with those of human beings, and some individuals are known to have lived longer than 150 years. Because of this, they symbolize longevity in some cultures, such as China.
